Our mission; blend the traditional disciplines of electric guitar making with available and emerging technologies to ultimately provide the best in class electric guitars and basses on the planet. It is to this end we strive.

The staff at Stratagé is comprised of dedicated group of individuals that share a keen interest in music, a burning desire to create musical instruments of remarkable sound quality and a love for the electric guitar and /or bass. It is our mandate to bring traditionally derived, aesthetically pleasing, and affordable electric guitars and bass guitars with practical and long needed features to the serious and professional guitarists across the globe.

Inspired by the long time and recognized traditional manufacturers the likes of Gibson* and Fender* as well as the relative new comers Ibanez*, PRS (Paul Reed Smith)*, ESP*, Dean* we set the design requirements of our electric guitars to achieve at a minimum, something greater than what these fine instruments deliver sonically. Designing in the Great American Sounds Model 1 Active Pickup System into our instrument platform not only allowed us to achieve our goal but surpass it by several orders of magnitude.

Stratagé Hand Crafted Electric Guitar & Bass Features:

• 7 way pickup selectors allowing the player to select from every possible pickup combination available on instruments equipped with 3 pickups. Not the usual 5 but all 7 to include all 3 pickups simultaneously.
Lead Boost at a touch of a button with a convenient LED indicator lets you know it is engaged. Get 6dB of instantaneous gain at the touch of an ergonomically friendly alternate action touch button switch. No stomp boxes required, touch it once get the gain, touch again you're back at your original volume setting.
• Elinmation of the Passive Tone Controls that have always just served to increase the bass response by removing the high frequencies. Does that even make sense?
Active Bass and Treble controls providing both Boost and Cut. Now you can dial in exactly the response curve you desire at the instrument not half a stage away but at the player instrument interface. These EQ tools do not interact with the volume controls. Changing the bass and treble does not affect the volume and changing the volume does not affect your EQ settings. Now you can keep the sweet spot regardless of your volume setting.
• The old cable length issues are gone forever. Need to run a guitar cable longer than 20 feet without sacrificing fidelity and gain? No problem, you can run a 75 foot or greater cable with any discernable losses.
• No batteries required ever! All GASCAPS (Great American Sounds Active Pickup System) equipped Stratage guitars and basses include the Phantom Power that provides not only the required power but also affords you features to include level adjustments, multiple amp outputs and an active DI for balanced input devices.
• Stratage Instruments employ High Quality components to include Wilkinson* Tremolo Bridges and EZ-Lok* tuners, Graph Tech* nuts and saddles** and our own superior proprietary hardware are employed throughout the line. Even the control knobs are die cast laser etched metal; we use no plastic components on Stratagé guitars and basses except for the control cavity covers on the back of the instruments.
• The body woods of our electric guitar and bass guitar models are available in Mahogany or Ash and our special hybridized bass body is made from a marriage of Mahogany and Ash to provide Warmth and Brilliance.
• Guitar Necks are maple and available with Maple, Rosewood or Fingerboards with medium Jumbo Frets.  Ebony is an ACO option.
  
• Bass Necks are 3 pieces Maple / Mahogany / Maple also available with Maple, Rosewood and Ebony Fingerboards.
• Available Pickup Series are Vinage, Vintage Elite, Stage, Stage Elite, Studio and Studio Elite. Standard within our proprietary line of pickups is the exclusive use of AlNiCo Magnets.
  
• Barent and Sargosso series Bass Guitars include Graph Tech Ghost Saddles with imbedded Piezo elements affording a 3 pickup instrument without the encumbrance of a third Electromagnetic pickup.
• Dual Storage Compartment, 5 Hinge Hard Shell Cases or Multi-Pocket Gig bags (Model Dependant) are included as well as all required cables and guitar strap.
